Rikard Lundgren, Non-Executive Director
Since 2016, Rikard Lundgren has been a Luxembourg based Non-Executive Director and Advisor with mandates in both regulated and non-regulated Luxembourg entities. His last operational role was as CIO and partner of IMQubator, an APG funded seed investor in start-up Hedge and Private Equity funds. Before this, he was Head of Investments (20 bnEUR) at Folksam, a Swedish insurance company, CEO and CIO of the Finance division of Inter-IKEA, and periodically worked as an independent advisor and consultant to a range of investment organisations.
Previous board assignments include; Informed Portfolio Management (IPM), Shepherd Capital, Catella Kapitalförvaltning, Romanesco Capital, Cajsa Warg AB, Airborne International.
He has appeared as speaker at AIMA, Swedish House of Finace (SHoF) the Swedish Society of Financial Analysts (SFF), Swedish Investor’s Club and various industry conferences. He has published articles in the AIMA journal, Hedge Fund Journal, Opalesque, Duke and Andy. Before turning to investment management, he held specialist and managerial positions in the Global Markets divisions of First Chicago, Bankers Trust, Swedbank and Deutsche Bank.
He holds a Bachelors degree from the Stockholm School of Economics, and is a graduate from the Swedish Army’s School of Languages and speaks six languages.
