Paul Keltie is a Non-Executive Director of SGM Advisors. In this role, Paul and the other Directors on SGM Advisor reviews and recommends any and all investments prior to submitting to AIFM for final approval, and aides in the monitoring of the portfolio post initial investment.
Paul Keltie has acted as Director of various Guernsey service providers, London Stock Exchange listed funds and Guernsey domiciled principal managers, general partners and investment advisors.
Paul holds Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Accountancy degrees from the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg. He qualified as an accountant in Johannesburg with Arthur Andersen in 1990 and has over 25 years’ experience in financial services. Although his background is in accounting, he has in-depth operational knowledge of the fund industry in Guernsey encompassing all service lines and fund types, including closed and open-ended real estate, private equity, hedge, fund-of-funds and emerging market funds.
Paul was Head of Fund Administration and a Director on the Board of HSBC Securities Services (Guernsey) Limited, an award- winning third party fund administrator in Guernsey between 2007 and 2011 where he was responsible for all aspects of client service delivery including fund accounting, financial reporting, transfer agency and investor services, corporate secretarial and custody services. Since that time he has held senior roles at various prominent Guernsey service providers such as Ocorian, IAG, Sanne and Apex.
