Lokendra Jain has joined SGM's advisory board in 2021.
Lokendra has more than 2 decades of Private Equity, Buy Out, LBOs, Venture Capital, Corporate Venture Capital, Operational and Board experience and is currently the Partner & Managing Director of Marrs Blue Water & Infra Private Equity Fund. He has been leading the fund formation & capital raise efforts focused on Water, Energy, and Infrastructure Investments and executing proprietary deals.
Lokendra is a Member of the Board of Directors of large multi tens of billion global group’s (https://www.jsw.in/) related company (https://www.epsiloncarbon.com/) which is part of a supply chain that supports lower carbon footprint and de-carbonization efforts and leading player in making in EV Supply Chain with global footprint.
Lokendra has also been an Advisor to the USA and Global PE & VC platforms, a few large Corporate Companies (EXL Service, NASDAQ: EXLS), Startups, etc. for private equity & VC activities, and new business & channels development areas.
Lokendra has led Aramco's Private Equity, Buy Out, M&A, JV, and Divestiture transactions division in a large sovereign investment holding co. format (several 10s of B USD AUM) while working with PIF (Public Investment Fund) and SABIC (large chemical co.) as co-investors. He also helped in consulting to Corporate Venture Arm (SAEV/P7 Fund ~$1.5 B USD AUM) and Pension Fund (~$44 B USD AUM) teams on investments & strategy. The same institutions' ecosystem (PIF) was responsible for being the largest LP in the Vision Fund with Softbank. Lokendra has led and managed smaller to large and very large deals in this role across the whole deal cycle with sectors spanning to core & non-core and ESG areas.
Lokendra was one of the Founding Managing Directors & Partners of the Teichos-Brookwood Private Equity Fund with presence in San Francisco, Seattle and Atlanta and did multi family, student housing and renewable projects.
Lokendra was Co-CIO & Co-Head of Private Equity of a large Sovereign Wealth Fund (~$18 B USD AUM) from the inception and managed global sector/size/geo agnostic direct private equity investments & Buy-Outs & some selective fund investments.
Lokendra was Investment Director & Principal in US-based CVC/VC/one of the largest venture incubator platforms, i.e., Intel Capital & Raza Foundries, respectively.
